Terminal Intensity #19 - Sweeping Up After My Dreams
22.5" x 11" x 1.5"
Mixed Media / Oil Paint / Canvas
February, 2018

The dreams I have during the creation of these paintings are sometimes pretty intense. It's just part of the creative process. I got inspired by one of my older Terminal Intensity's and updated it. Art is communication and this is a great example.

A black and white close up.

Sweeping up the Dreams. This area was the first part that I focused on once I got the canvas covered with paint. For the most part, I knew what I wanted to do or say and ideas came in dreams. I would wake up and go paint it in.

I had used a small brush and had outlined the elliptical shapes without knowing what they would be. A few weeks later I woke up and painted them in. It was the turning point of the direction of this piece.

It's hard to describe how well a quality photo looks after seeing these paintings this close day after day. This is a nice close up of Terminal Intention #19 - Sweeping up The Dreams"
